Having over 20 years of Financial Services Industry experience with some of the largest mutual fund and insurance companies, Doug Filter brings a wealth of experience as a Partner to the High Point Financial Group, LLC. Doug’s primary area of expertise is in the area of group and individual retirement planning. He is a graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio where he earned his bachelor’s in accounting and earned his MBA from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Very active in the community, Doug and his family live in Littleton where he serves on the HOA board and several sub-committees and is an Ambassador with the West Chamber. As the founder of the Denver Jobs Network, Doug has a passion for helping those in transition.  The Denver Jobs Network has become one of the largest job seeker networking groups in the metro area.  Doug loves music and enjoys singing with the Denver University Lamont Men's Choral, his church choir, and has most recently been recruited to the Legacy Quartet.  His wife, Melissa, returned from serving our great nation with the US Navy in Iraq on a year-long tour ending December 2010.   She currently works as a cardiac nurse down town.  Their daughters, Lauren and April are honor students at Chatfield HS and actively involved in sports and music.
