Mike was born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota where he graduated from Northern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.  After graduation he enjoyed a successful career as a store manager for the Kmart Corporation.  Mike lives in Arvada, Colorado with his wife, Mary, and their children, Sam and Kate.  Together they enjoy camping, hiking, riding bicycles and attending Rockies baseball games.  Mike volunteers his time as the past chair of the ambassador program within the Arvada Chamber of Commerce and coaching youth baseball.

It has been said that a goal is nothing more than a dream written down.  As a Financial Professional, Mike's objective is to provide families with the knowledge and service to help them achieve their goals and dreams.  He initially works with each client to help them identify and priortize their goals.  Equipped with this knowledge, he can then develop and recommend a course of action involving a spectrum of investment and insurance platforms.  Recognizing that goals change, Mike regularly meets with his clients to review and modify, as needed, their financial strategy.
