A Colorado native, Doug attended elementary and secondary school in Evergreen where he participated in college prep academics and was a three sport athlete and letterman.  He attended Colorado State University on an athletic scholarship, was a two sport athlete and four year letterman, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  He, his wife Tracy, and their daughters, Morgan and Sydney, live in Lakewood where they actively participate in the children's school activities, youth and adult sports teams, and various neighborhood, community and charitable functions.

Since graduation Doug has earned his life/health insurance license and became a Registered Representative of NYLIFE Securities LLC as well as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) with Eagle Strategies LLC.  He is a "Top of the Table" Qualifying Million Dollar Roundtable Member. In 2007, Doug was awarded the Zone First Vice President Trophy of New York Life and was named to the Chairman's Cabinet.

Doug enjoys the personal side of his business, particularly the one-on-one contact and ongoing relationship he builds with his clients.  Before proceeding with a recommended financial plan for a client, he first seeks to fully understand their personal goals, priorities and financial circumstances.  Once a working relationship is established, Doug works together with his clients to develop a comprehensive plan designed to be an integral part of achieving their financial goals.

Through mutual respect, and a commitment to integrity, Doug will help evaluate the clients situation, crystallize their goals and develop strategies tailored to reach their financial objectives.
